Manito Place is a historic drive in Spokane Washington. Located adjacent to Manito Park it is a picturesque avenue lined with attractive bungalow homes on one side and beautiful Manito Park on the other.
Manito Place goes from Grand Boulevard, the main thoroughfare on Spokane's South Hill, west where it meets up with Manito Boulevard and turns North traveling into Central Manito Park.
A large portion of Manito Park is on the East side of the street, covered in green lawn and spotted with trees. The chestnut tree there is among the favorites of the local grey squirrel population.
The West and South sides of Manito Place are lined with older bungalow homes, some as old as Manito Park itself dating back to the early 20th century. Most of the homes are well maintained and are as admirable as the view of the park.
